Muhammad's Marriage with Kadijah radhiyallāhu 'anhā

At the age of 25 years, Muhammad Sholallahu'alaihi wa sallam married Khadijah, a Quraish woman who had a high position and abundant wealth. Some said Khadija's age was 28 years old and some said she was 40 years old. She is Khadijah Bintu Khuwailid Bin Asad Bin Abdul Uzza Bin Qushay Bin Kilab Bin Murrah Bin Ka'ab Bin Luay al-Qurosyiyyah. She is one of the best women in line, wealth and intelligence. She is the woman who was first married to Muhammad Sholallahu'alaihi wa sallam and he Sholallahu'alaihi wa sallam did not marry any other woman until Khadija died. When Khadija died, 6 children were born to her, namely al-Qasim, Abdullah, Zainab, Ruqoyyah, Umm Kulthum, and Fatima. Al-Qosim and Abdullah died when they were little while the women all met the prophethood of Muhammad Sholallahu'alaihi wa sallam and converted to Islam and all died before Rasulullah Sholallahu'alaihi wa sallam except Fatima. So she died 6 months after the death of Rasulullah Sholallahu...

Muhammad Under the Support of Abu Talib

After Abdul Muththollib, Abu Tholib fulfilled Muhammad's rights for more than 40 years even exceeding the rights of his own children and defended him both physically and verbally. Rasulullah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- grew up as a young man who was guarded by Allah farthest from the impurities of ignorance and their habits, most guarded honor, the best in character, very shy, most honest in his words, very trustworthy, far from obscene behavior and rough so it is known among the ignorant community with the nickname al-Amin which means "TRUSTABLE". He is known as a person who has a lot of friendship, respects guests, likes to help others in kindness, eats from his own efforts, and is qonaah (feeling enough of what Allah has given). When he was 14 or 15 years old, there was a war of al-Fujjar between Quraish and Kinanah against the Qoais and Ailan tribes, but there is no authentic history that Muhammad -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- was at war. Then he...

The cleavage of the Prophet's chest, the death of Aminah and Abdul Muttalib

Imam Muslim narrated in his saheeh that when Prophet Muhammad -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- was playing with children, then the angel Jibril cut open his chest and took out a clot of black blood and threw it away from his heart and then washed his heart with a vessel made of gold and in it Zamzam water so that the heart is clean and restore it to normal. The children reported to Halimah that Muhammad had been killed, then they welcomed the Prophet Muhammad -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- with a changed face. Halimah, as a mother who breastfed the Prophet -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him-, was afraid of the strange incident that happened to the Prophet Muhammad -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him-, so she returned him to his mother until he was 6 years old.  In that year, Aminah invited Muhammad -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- to visit the tomb of the his father in Medina with Abdul Muththollib and Umm Aiman. On the way home, Aminah fell ill and di...

Muhammad -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- Breastfeeding

Abdul Muttollib, after hearing about the birth of Rasulullah -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him-, took him to the Ka'bah and gave him the name Muhammad, a name that was foreign to the Arabs at that time. Then Abdul Muththollib looked for a Bedouin Arab woman to breastfeed the Prophet -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- which is the habit of urban Arabs to keep their children away from various urban diseases and to be strong and master fluent Arabic. However, at that time, no Bedouin Arab woman was willing to breastfeed her because he -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- was an orphan, so it was feared that no one would pay for her breastfeeding fee. Finally there was a woman named Halimah bintu Abi Dzu'aib as-Sa'diah who came from Bani Sa'ad, she was the one who was willing to breastfeed him. This was because Halimah felt sorry for him -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- and did not want to return to her village without bringing a baby to breastfeed. Fina...

The birth of the Prophet Muhammad -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him-

Prophet Muhammad Salallahu 'alaihi wa Sallam was born on Monday (Hadith about fasting on Monday & first revelation from Abu Qotadah al-Anshori and narrated by Muslims) in the year of the elephant, which is the year 570 AD.  The year when a major event occurs which implies a bigger event that shows God wants good for mankind. In that year Abrahah, the governor of Yemen who was under the command of King Habasyah, built a very large church with the aim of removing the Hajj that had been done at the Ka'bah which the Arabs flocked to him. This angered the Arabs, so one of them came to the church and defecated in it. This made Abrahah angry and vowed to go to the Ka'bah and destroy it. So Abrahah went with his army and brought the elephant. The Arabs tried to get in the way, but they couldn't.  When he arrived outside the city of Mecca, Abdul Muttolib as the leader of Quraish came to Abrahah who had already taken 200 of his camels. After getting down from his chair and si...

IMPLEMENTING THE NATURE OF THE PROPHET ﷺ

Aisyah radhiyallahu anha has concluded that the morals of the Prophet ﷺ are the Qur'an. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was a figure of noble character, even before he was appointed as a prophet, as this was recognized by the Quraish themselves, both believers and non-believers among them. When the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was ordered to start preaching to his closest relatives, he ﷺ went up on the hill of Safa, then called Bani Fihr and Bani Adi who were his close relatives ﷺ to gather. It is said that all of them, without exception, at that time admitted that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was an honest person, never once lied. Abu Sufyan radhiyallaahu anhu who was still a disbeliever, was asked by the Roman Emperor about the morals of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Abu Sufyan also replied that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ never once lied or betrayed him. A Jewish priest who eventually became one of the best friends of the Prophet ﷺ, namely Abdullah bin Salam radhiyallaahu anhu, said that the face of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ...

The Prophet's relative -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him-

His relatives are: Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abdul Muttollib bin Hasyim bin Abdul Manaf bin Kushay bin Kilab bin Murrah bin Kaab bin Luay bin Ghalib bin Fihr bin Maalik bin an-Nadhr bin Kinanah.  Fihr has the title Quraish, and Quraish is a descendant of Kinanah and Kinanah is a descendant of Isma'il bin Ibrahim 'Alihimassalam. Hasyim is in charge of Jama'ah Haji food and drink. He was the first to embark on 2 journeys of the Quraish people, namely a winter trip to Yemen and a summer trip to Sham. On a trip to Sham, Hashim married Salma bintu Amr from the tribe of the children of Adiy bin an-Najr in the city of Medina. She died in Syria while Salma was pregnant with her child who would later be named Syaibah (Abdul Mutholib).  After Haysim died, the power over Zamzam and Rifadhah was held by his brother, al-Muttollib. When al-Muttollib heard about his nephew in Medina, he picked up his nephew to restore his control over the city of Mecca. When he hitched a ride with his nep...

The State of Mecca before the Prophet -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- was sent Part 04 of 04

There are still among the experts of ignorance the remnants of the teachings of Prophet Ibrahim 'Alaihissalam such as the glorification of the house of Allah, tawaf, hajj, umrah, wukuf in arafah and overnight at muzdalifah, etc.  But they make bid'ah in it like for example the Quraish people, they do wukuf in Muzdalifah and not in Arafah on the grounds that they are residents of haram land, so they have to wukuf in haram land even though this contradicts the teachings of Prophet Ibrahim 'Alaihissalam. However, it should be noted that the experts of Jahiliyyah apart from having bad habits and deviant beliefs as the explanation has passed, they also have noble qualities, including: Al-Karom (Generosity): They compete with each other in honoring guests. Sometimes guests come, and the host has no property except for one camel which is the life of him and his family, so in honor of his guest he slaughtered the camel. They are people who always fulfill their covenants with other...

The State of Mecca before the Prophet -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- was sent Part 03 of 04

The ignorant Arabs did not respect women. They married an unlimited number of women, married 2 sisters at the same time, married their father's wife when they were divorced or died. It was all common in the era of ignorance. There are those who bury the lives of the children of women just for fear of being embarrassed by the cause of the woman (Surah At-Takwir 8-9).  Women become inherited assets as inherited goods, adultery and prostitution are spread at every level of society, alcohol and gambling are spread. There are those who kill their children for fear of being poor or the poverty that has befallen them. There are those who are fanatical about their tribe and defend people who come from 1 tribe whether they are right or wrong.  They are very taqlid to their ancestors in religious matters. In view that the customs of the ancestors are the best (Surah Al-Maidah 104). They like to fight with other tribes and easily shed blood. Waged war for trivial reasons, then foug...

The State of Mecca before the Prophet -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- was Sent Part 02 of 04

The ignorant Arabs believed in shaman, fortune tellers and astrologers. Shaman: Are people who admit to knowing events that will occur in the future. Fortune Teller: Are people who claim to know the stolen or lost items by doing certain deeds such as looking in a bowl, etc. Astrologers: Are people who look at the stars to find out what happens to the universe in the future. When it rains, they say that this rain is the cause of this and that star. Among the beliefs of the ignorant people is TIYAROH, which is feeling unlucky because of something. If they have cravings, then they fly birds. If the bird flies to the right, they continue their desire and if they fly to the left, they don't do it. Likewise they feel unlucky with an animal passing in front of them, feel unlucky with certain days or certain months and so on.

The State of Mecca before the Prophet -peace and prayer of Allah be upon him- was sent Part 01 of 04

The religion of the Arabs used to mostly follow the teachings of the Prophet Isma'il to follow Millah Ibrohim to affirm Allah and not associate Him with anything. Amr bin Luay al-Khuza'i was the first person to bring an idol to the city of Mecca from Syria named Hubal and put it in the Ka'bah and invite people to worship him. Among the first and greatest idols were named Manat, al-Laata and al-Uzza. They slaughter for idols (al-Maidah verse 3) and provide some of the food for their idols (al-an'am 136) and they make vows for other than Allah (Surah al-An'am 138). And among their beliefs that these idols will intercede for them in the sight of Allah (Surah Yunus 18).

Understanding Sirah and the Importance of Studying Sirah Nabawiyyah

Sirah means the way.  Sirah Nabawiyyah means the life journey of the Prophet Sholallahu'alaihi wa sallam. The importance of studying the sirah of the prophet:   1. Among the forms of love to him.  2. One way to recognize his words and behavior that a Muslim should imitate and emulate (Surah al-Ahzab 21).  3. Strengthening faith in the heart.  4. Understand the verses of the Koran and the reasons for their descent, and understand the hadiths of the Prophet.  5. Knowing the friends (ash-Shahabah) chosen by Allah to accompany His Prophet.  Ali bin Husayn bin Ali bin Abi Talib said "We were taught the wars of the Prophet and the wars that the Prophet did not follow as we were taught in one letter in the Koran" (al-Khatib al-Baghdadi), the point is to repeat.  And said Ismail bin Muhammad bin Saad bin Abi Waqqash (died 134H) "Our father taught us the battles of the Prophet and the wars that he did not follow and called them for us and he said, O m...
